About
Dr. Sanjay Konakondla is a board-certified, fellowship trained neurosurgeon and global leader in endoscopic spine surgery. He is the founding partner of the Endoscopic Spine Institute of New York (ESINY), where he is redefining what modern spine surgery looks and feels like - minimally invasive, highly effective, and deeply patient-centered.
He graduated with honors and achieved his Medical Degree from St. Matthews University, completed his Neurological Surgery residency training at Geisinger Neurosciences Institute and sought additional fellowship specialization in complex spine and minimally invasive spine techniques at Brown University. He built the Endoscopic Spine Program at Geisinger and was promoted to Associate Professor of Geisinger College of Health Sciences.
With a career spanning some of the nation’s most advanced neurosurgical institutions, Dr. Konakondla has pioneered endoscopic approaches to complex spine conditions, offering patients faster recoveries, smaller incisions, and better outcomes.
