About
Dr. Travis Hill is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery. A pioneer of these techniques, he performed the first endoscopic spine surgeries at New York City's Bellevue Hospital and Manhattan VA, developing approaches that maximize precision while minimizing tissue disruption—allowing patients faster recovery with less pain.
His unique path blends neuroscience and surgery: after earning his Ph.D. at UC Davis studying synaptic plasticity (published in Neuron and Journal of Neuroscience), he completed NYU’s accelerated 3-year MD program, neurosurgical residency at NYU Langone, and advanced fellowship training in Complex & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at the University of Washington.
Now practicing in New York and New Jersey, Dr. Hill is dedicated to one principle: offering patients the least invasive solution possible. His endoscopic expertise ensures targeted treatment, preserved anatomy, and a quicker return to active lives.
