Working through a sub-centimeter opening means less bleeding, less scarring, and fewer complications than open surgery. Recovery is frequently measured in days where traditional surgery is measured in months.
Go Home the Same Day
Around 95% of our patients are discharged the day of their procedure, covered by a single adhesive bandage. No overnight admission, no drains, no drawn-out convalescence.
Often Without General Anesthesia
Many endoscopic procedures are performed under local anesthesia with light sedation, sparing you the grogginess and recovery burden general anesthesia carries. It remains available whenever a case calls for it.
A Solution For Every Stage
Endoscopic spine treatment meets you wherever you are in your search for relief. Whether you’ve tried injections, had spine surgery, or are just starting to explore your options, this proven approach offers a direct path forward.
The Go-To For Other Spine Doctors
When other doctors need care for their spinal conditions, they call us for endoscopic spine treatment. Having operated on more than 40 spine surgeons, we're the spine surgeon's spine surgeon.
What Is Endoscopic Spine Surgery?
Endoscopic spine surgery is the least invasive spinal procedure available today that still involves an incision.
Your surgeon creates an opening under one centimeter and passes a working channel roughly the width of a drinking straw down to the affected level. A high-definition endoscope travels through that channel, projecting a magnified, brightly lit view of your anatomy onto a screen. Fine instruments pass alongside the camera to remove whatever is compressing the nerve — a fragment of herniated disc, a bone spur, a thickened ligament. The decisive difference isn't the size of the incision. It's what happens beneath it. Open surgery requires cutting and retracting the muscles that stabilize your spine, and that trauma accounts for much of the pain and disability that follow. An endoscopic approach navigates between those muscle fibers instead of through them. The muscle stays intact, the spine's stability is preserved, and the body has dramatically less collateral damage to repair.
That's why same-day discharge is routine rather than remarkable.
